The race will be held on April 14, 2012.  Start time is 8:00 am sharp!

Sign-up for the 5k Run/Walk (3.1 miles) that includes a scenic trail course.  This event is open to runners of all ages and abilities.

Not up to running a full 5K?  Then join us for our Foxtrot Fun Run!  This event is open to runners of all ages and abilities. 

College Hill Library, located next to Front Range Community College in Westminster, will be the start and finish location for the race.  3645 West 112th Avenue, Westminster.  The course runs through the Community College Open Space Park.

Free parking is available in both lots for the College Hill Library as well as Front Range Community College.

 Runners are required to choose 1 of the following locations to pick up your bib number: 

1. Bethlehem Lutheran School, Lakewood on Thursday April 12th from 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm or Friday April 13th between 7:30 am to 9:00 am.
   
2. Road Runner Sports - 10436 Town Center Drive, Suite 300, Westminster, on April 13, from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm.  Runners and Walkers selecting Road Runner Sports as their packet pickup location will receive an in store discount on purchases on packet pickup day.  The VIP discount is 25%, non-VIP discount is 10%. (electronic merchandise excluded)  The 25% VIP discount includes the 10% VIP guaranteed discount plus an additional 15% for Bobcat Boogie 5K Run/Walk.
3. Packet/Chip pickup table on race morning between 7:00 am and 7:45 am.       

        

Race day registration will take place at the starting line area of College Hill Library, Westminster, between 7:00 and 7:45 am. 

Please help everyone enjoy this great event. For adherence to USATF insurance, no in-line skates, bicycles, skateboards or dogs (with the exception of trained service dogs for guests with disabilities) will be allowed at the event.  Headsets are strongly discouraged. Baby joggers and strollers are permitted only at the back of the 5k Run/Walk and the Fun Run.  

The 5K race will be timed using an electronic timing chip.  You must wear the timing tag for the duration of the race to receive full race results.  The timing chip needs to be attached to your shoe.  Fasteners are included in your packet.  There is a $30 replacement fee for all lost or damaged chips.

After your event, join us for the best post-race party in town -- free food, beverages, prizes and entertainment.

Technical T-Shirts will be handed out at packet pick up and during the registration time on race day.  Goodie bags will be given out at the conclusion of the race, at the post race celebration.  Awards will be presented at the awards ceremony to the following age groups:  Top Male and Female ages: 10 years and under, 11-14, 15-29, 30-49, 50+.  Awards will also go to the overall male and female finishers.

As a participant in the Bobcat Boogie, you are automatically entered into a special raffle for prizes! All prizes will be given away at the Awards Ceremony following the run. You must be present to win.
