COURSE DETAILS:

The Bobcat Boogie courses will begin and end in the College Hill Library parking lot.  The 5K course will start out going north on the beautifully maintained pea-gravel trail then veer off to the east, circling around a portion of the Community College Open Space park where runners will see breath-taking views of the mountains as well as some wonderful wildlife.  Bald eagle nesting areas are along the course, so runners may even get a glimpse of the local eagles.  The course will exit the park on the north side on Wolfe Street, but runners are required to stay on the sidewalk as they head south to the soccer field entrance. Course follows the paved trail around the soccer fields then will meet back up on the gravel trail to circle around the last pond and then head back south to the finish line.

The Foxtrot Family Fun Run course will begin and end in the same location as the 5K course. Runners will start out going north until the first trail intersection, then head west and loop around the pond and head back to the finish line.

Course monitors will be assisting runners along the course as well as chalk markings.
